Community Guidelines

Last Updated: July 8, 2026

Welcome to the ijustPaid community.

ijustPaid was created around a simple idea:

Real People. Real Prices. Real Reviews.

Our community works when people share genuine purchase experiences and treat one another fairly.

These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from users of ijustPaid.

1. Post What You Actually Paid

The heart of ijustPaid is real purchase information.

If you post a price, it should reflect what you actually paid or a genuine purchase experience you are authorized to share.

Do not:

  • Invent prices;
  • Post fake purchases;
  • Alter receipts to misrepresent a transaction;
  • Create fake invoices;
  • Claim you purchased something you did not purchase;
  • Misrepresent the store or business;
  • Misrepresent the purchase date; or
  • Deliberately leave out important information to create a false impression.

If you used a coupon, discount, membership, promotion, negotiated price, loyalty reward, or other special offer, tell the community when that information is important to understanding the price.

Keep it real. That is what makes ijustPaid useful.

2. Real Reviews Only

Reviews should be based on a genuine experience.

You are welcome to love a product.

You are welcome to dislike a product.

You are welcome to say a service was fantastic.

You are welcome to say you were disappointed.

Be truthful.

Do not post a fake positive review to help a business.

Do not post a fake negative review to hurt a business.

Do not organize groups to manipulate ratings, reviews, posts, or search results.

3. Disclose When You Received Something

If you received money, a free product, a discount, a gift, a commission, or another benefit connected to a post, review, or recommendation, clearly tell the community.

Examples include:

  • Free products;
  • Free services;
  • Paid promotions;
  • Sponsorships;
  • Affiliate relationships;
  • Employee relationships;
  • Family relationships with a business owner; and
  • Discounts provided in exchange for a review or post.

A simple, clear disclosure is best.

Do not hide a commercial relationship.

4. Protect Your Private Information

Before uploading a receipt, invoice, photograph, or document, check it carefully.

Do not publicly post sensitive information such as:

  • Full payment card numbers;
  • Bank account information;
  • Home addresses;
  • Private telephone numbers;
  • Private email addresses;
  • Passwords;
  • Government identification numbers;
  • Medical information;
  • Insurance information; or
  • Other confidential personal information.

ijustPaid may use technology to help identify and obscure sensitive information.

That technology may not catch everything.

Check before you post.

5. Protect Other People's Privacy

Do not post another person's private information without permission.

Do not upload receipts, invoices, photographs, or documents that expose another person's confidential information.

Do not use ijustPaid to identify, track, threaten, embarrass, or harass another person.

6. Be Fair to Businesses

ijustPaid exists to give consumers useful information.

It is not a weapon for attacking a business.

You may share a genuine negative experience.

You may criticize a product or service.

You may explain why you believe something was overpriced.

But you must not knowingly post false information.

Do not threaten a business with a negative review to obtain money, free products, discounts, or special treatment.

Do not create multiple accounts to attack a business.

Do not encourage others to post fake reviews.

7. Businesses Are Welcome, But Be Transparent

Businesses may participate in the ijustPaid community where permitted by the Service.

Businesses must clearly identify themselves when acting on behalf of a business.

Businesses must not pretend to be ordinary consumers.

Businesses must not:

  • Create fake customer accounts;
  • Post fake reviews;
  • Pay for undisclosed positive reviews;
  • Attack competitors using fake accounts;
  • Threaten users over truthful reviews;
  • Manipulate prices or search results; or
  • Misrepresent sponsored content as an independent consumer post.

Businesses may respectfully respond to genuine user concerns.

8. No Harassment or Threats

Treat people like people.

Do not:

  • Threaten violence;
  • Harass users;
  • Stalk users;
  • Repeatedly target another person;
  • Encourage others to harass someone;
  • Publish private information to intimidate someone; or
  • Use hateful or unlawfully discriminatory content.

Disagreement is allowed.

Abuse is not.

9. No Fraud or Scams

Do not use ijustPaid to:

  • Commit fraud;
  • Promote scams;
  • Steal account information;
  • Request passwords;
  • Distribute malicious software;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Create fraudulent contests;
  • Manipulate purchases;
  • Sell stolen goods; or
  • Engage in unlawful activity.

Suspicious activity may be restricted or removed.

10. No Spam or Platform Manipulation

Do not flood ijustPaid with repetitive or irrelevant content.

Do not use unauthorized bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools to:

  • Create accounts;
  • Generate fake posts;
  • Manipulate engagement;
  • Artificially increase followers;
  • Manipulate contests;
  • Harvest user information; or
  • Interfere with the Service.

11. Photos and Videos

Only post photographs and videos you have the right to share.

Do not post content that unlawfully violates another person's copyright or privacy.

Be especially careful when photographs or videos show:

  • Children;
  • Private homes;
  • Licence plates;
  • Identification documents;
  • Computer screens;
  • Payment information; or
  • Other people.

Review your content before posting.

12. Contests and Giveaways

Contests and promotions may have separate official rules.

Follow those rules.

Do not:

  • Create duplicate accounts;
  • Submit fake entries;
  • Use bots;
  • Coordinate fraudulent entries;
  • Falsify purchase information; or
  • Manipulate voting or engagement.

Users who manipulate a contest may be disqualified.

13. Reporting Content

If you see content that appears to violate these Community Guidelines, please use the available reporting tools or contact ijustPaid.

Reports may be reviewed by automated systems or members of our team.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content will be removed.

Do not abuse reporting tools to target users you simply disagree with.

14. What Happens When the Rules Are Broken

Depending on the circumstances, ijustPaid may:

  • Warn a user;
  • Remove content;
  • Limit the visibility of content;
  • Restrict certain features;
  • Require account verification;
  • Temporarily suspend an account;
  • Permanently terminate an account;
  • Disqualify a user from a contest; or
  • Take other reasonable action to protect the community and the Service.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate account termination.

15. Appeals

Where available, users may request a review of certain moderation decisions.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed.

We may consider:

  • The content involved;
  • The user's explanation;
  • Account history;
  • Repeated violations;
  • Fraud or security risks; and
  • The safety and integrity of the community.

16. Our Community Standard

Before you post, ask yourself three simple questions:

Is it real?

Is it useful?

Is it fair?

If the answer is yes, it probably belongs on ijustPaid.

Real People. Real Prices. Real Reviews.
